Water and Hot Days

While having my car washed yesterday, I heard that we're almost breaking the record of 1980 of 69 days of triple digit weather. I don't want to break any record. Really. I want it to be nice and cooler now. I also heard that this hot trend will continue til the end of October.

On the other hand longer swimming season. But who's got time to swim when homework shall descend like locust amongst my 5 children? I know balance is the key. That means my ability to make sure all kids are on tract so they are assured of free time for swimming. It is quite difficult when I'm dealing with 5 different personality. Each with his or her own idea on what priority should be. This is going to be a good year.
