First Day of School

3:40 AM : My bedtime. I have to be up in a few hours for my kids to be in school.

6:00 AM : Drat! The alarms blaring. Crawled my way to the kitchen to get some orange juice to wake myself up. Grabbed a book for some quiet 15 minutes.

6:20 AM: Kissed, sang, shook, and bribed my three students to get up and get dressed for school.

6:45 AM: Hubby woke up so he could wait with Daniel for his bus to his school. My kids goes to 3 different schools this year due to some special programs they attend one of which is a Math/Science Talented and Gifted school. Kids are eating breakfast, except for Daniel who's still in the shower.

7:00 AM: Should have left the house 5 minutes ago, but forgot to dressed and fed the two youngest ones. Grabbed them from bed, except I realized I wasn't out of my pajamas yet. Went to closet and put a shirt over PJ, slide foot in 4 inch clogs, washed face, brushed teeth, then grabbed the two youngest ones so hubby can load them in car.

7:15 AM : Finally in the car. Got to Eli's school, where Rivka is to wait for her bus to her school. Realized I was clueless which buss is picking up my daughter, called her school for info. Bus number is very busy. I don't think I can get through it today.

7:27 AM: Rivka was squirming in her seat...she needs a bathroom...NOW! She ran into her brother's school. I was hoping her bus would be late so she could still catch it.

7:36 AM: Bus is 18 minutes late, Rivka came barelling out of the school while her bus pulled in. She dragged a very heavy backpacked, lunch box, and another bag (who knows what's in it) ran to her bus. Followed her bus for two streets, lost interest, went back to Eli's school instead.

7:40 AM: Called husband if Daniel's bus had picked him up....Nope.

8:05 AM: Went back to the house and took Daniel to school. Found out bus was extremely late.

9:00 AM: Just finished feeding Ranaan and Tamir yogurt for their breakfast. Tamir's clothes got so dirty, I bought him another outfit at Sams. It was only 6 dollars and he look so cute in it. Went to Sams to get some stuff...actually managed to get out with only 100$ bill.

10:30 Drove to DMV to get title for new car.

11:30 AM: Went to the Mall and got in 3 miles of walking with hubby. Remind me to post the canned-good arts all over the mall for "hunger" charity.

2:30 PM: Done with walking, got back home only to get into my smaller car to pick up Daniel from school and to go to the dentist. Note to self: Daniel must have his own dental appointment in the future.

4:25 PM: Went to Target with Daniel just to look around...he bought some play dough stuff, and I some clothes for the two youngest babies.

4:55 PM: Got home, and finally get to finished this first day of school journal. Off to make dinner or supper or whatever it is called if you serve it at night.
